The struggle has been real, but…

There is one thing I’ve always wanted (except saving the world, loving hard and passionately, travel around the world, meet Dalida, Aristotle Onassis and Jackie Kennedy, finding a cure to AIDS, owning AN olive tree AND an argan tree, learning how to work with leather, having a breast augmentation, live in a forest away from everything and being one with nature, visit India, Morocco, having 6 kids and making my parents proud):

Knee-high boots. Whether it’s a high heel or not.

It’s literally been more than 6 – 7 years of looking.
I FINALLY found something and I’m in love.

[- Are you sure?
– Yes, Mom! They’re perfect. Everything I hoped for.]

C’était inespéré! I’m a size 40 EU/10 US [Does I sound like I worked in a shoe store?] and I have the TINIEST calves of life, which makes it SUPER HARD to find ANY-THING.
How hard is it nowadays to find boots, your dream boots? (Way too complicated).

It’s funny (well, not so funny, actually) because we know what we want and everything you find is a pale comparison to your dream boots: knee-high or over the knee, black or brown, perfect fit around the calves, not a lot of bling on them (none), simple yet you want an “umph” factor… making sure they don’t make your feet look HUGE (oh hai to all the girls with size 10-11-12 feet) Classy. One you can wear up or down, with a dress, with jeans… basically your new boyfriend for a couple of months ’til your new find.
(Hahaha. Ever wonder how the hell you used to dress up like until you buy the perfect jeans, or the perfect wool coat, or the perfect leather jacket!
Ah! Société de consommation.)

After scouring the internet for inspiration, here’s my top 5 boots:

Style: Black Prometeo Erse. Can be found on Shopbop

I couln't get over that outfit. Still picking up my jaw.

They're everything!
They’re everything!
-Yes, I do...
-Yes, I do…
You're the one that I want... You are the one I want... ouh ouh ouh, honey! ♪
